Kips Template uses browser storage so the editor can save local drafts, remember preferences, and reopen quickly.
1. Storage used by the editor
The editor may use localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, and Cache Storage. These records stay on your device unless you clear site data or your browser removes them.
2. What we store locally
- Local projects, uploads, undo history, and template edits.
- Theme, language, zoom, and workspace preferences.
- Offline app shell files such as scripts, styles, and assets.
3. Optional monetization storage
If ads are enabled in a deployment, ad technology may use its own storage to deliver and measure ads. Ads should not cover the canvas, toolbar, export modal, template picker, text tools, upload flow, or layer panel.
4. Clearing storage
You can clear site data from your browser settings. Export important projects first because clearing site data may remove local drafts.
